Teeth Man | One Night Only: October 30th

It's been quite a while since I've written here. Living between NY and PA has been quite the focus this last year. If you haven't heard, I'm working towards my next steps in education to support my artistic explorations and what I can offer my communities. To add to that, I've just produced, "Big Bad," with the Junior High near me and my new original play, "Teeth Man," is up and coming:

I hope you are doing well during this very busy spooky season. Many of you may have gotten the word already, but my production of 'Teeth Man' is at the Indiana Theater this Friday, October 30th at 8PM (one night only). 

I'm really proud of this play and all of the effort my creative team has put into it. We would be so honored if you found the time to be the first audience and learn the lore first-hand. It's been a really amazing experience to bring this 'Jack the Ripper' world to life in a short period of time. 

It's important for community to share theatre, share ideas, and keep the arts alive, building empathy, literacy and supporting our creative community. I would really love to see more live performances take place in my hometown because it shows that the arts are alive and that our community is talking to each other and connecting with each other. I'm trying to encourage more of that with this original production. 

I've also gotten a lot of questions about how scary it is. In a world of jump-scare horror movies, it isn't actually that scary. It's closer to a psychological thriller, but does have mature language and some dark themes and fake blood/stage effects following a character that wants to get away from a destitute life on the East End. As a theatre educator, I've wanted to be clear of this production's nature.
